Here's the update!
I'ts been awhile since I've last blogged. Mainly because of work and sleep. Been doing a lot of both. And this is something to think about just in time for the Halloween season :). Here's the update, back in high school, I used to write short stories. They were mainly horror stories. Both illustrative and detailed. I've been thinking about going back to that and possibly writing a full short story book. Possibly publish it? I don't know how much that costs, the details in getting it published, or the steps you must take to do so, but it has been on my mind for awhile. So I think the next coming months that's where I'll be and what I'll be doing. I haven't picked up my guitar in awhile except for moments here and there. Haven't touched my bass, keyboard, or drums in so long I can't even remember. So, I think I might turn my minds towards the creative side once again, but for writing stories. I am not saying I give up on music or am forgetting it all together. But, the fact that I've wanted to sit down and write dark stories tells me I need to find something to motivate me creatively. I've been hitting stone walls in my lyrical content. I've started about a dozen songs and have yet to finish them. I will go back, but I want to take a break from the song writing and turn to story writing which is something I haven't done in about 5 or 6 years.
