Religion/Politics

This is my opinion and not meant to upset anyone . . . .

I have been thinking about this one for years. I went to Catholic school for 13 years, I am Christian-Catholic. I was born and raised that way. I may or may not agree or disagree with some of the aspects, but I believe everything happens for a reason and that there is a heaven and a hell. I don't know about the whole purgatory thing that's kind of a toss up. But back to the matter at hand. There's also politics, now I personally believe politics are pretty corrupt and I don't really think most politicians really have that much power. I don't know much about politics and that's a choice I've made for myself. I don't look into it for a reason. It's not that I don't care or think they don't matter, I believe they do to an extent. I'll watch stuff about it here or there, but I think most of it is just black and white. I'm sure there's a lot of grey area that us as a nation aren't informed about. To me that's a good/bad thing. My take on politics and religion is this. I respect your opinions and respect your views, but honestly I think there is a time and place for both. And i also don't like it when people will try to shove their views down your throat. I don't go around trying to tell you what to believe, I expect you to do the same. I've seen debates about politics and religion going back and forth and getting pretty heated, it's unnecessary and stupid. We all have a freedom of speech. I guess you could say people take advantage of that in that way. I try to be the best person I can be everyday. I don't go to church, but I'm the kind of person who would give the shirt off their back to a person in need and anyone who knows me knows that. I think if you have opinions and views that if you express them you should also hear out someone else's . . . .  well that's all for now just something I was thinking about stay tuned for more soon to come!
